The 62nd Annual Eskridge Labor Day Rodeo is just around the corner on SATURDAY August 30st & SUNDAY August 31st, 2014. Be ready for some wild action.
Are you tough enough to wear pink? If you are be sure to wear some pink Saturday night. For every person (from the tallest to the smallest) tough enough to wear pink through the gates on Saturday, August 30th, the Eskridge Labor Day Rodeo Committee will donate $1.00 to the Stormont-Vail Auxiliary Angel Fund for Cancer Patients.* Come enjoy the broncs and bucks and put on some pink for a good cause.
Stick Horse Race
Instead of a Kids Calf Scramble we will be doing a stick horse race. All youth 10 and under are welcome to participate as long as they have some sort of stick horse to ride. Be sure to bring your fastest stick horse for this years rodeo. A limited number of stick horses may be available for purchase at the west concession stand.
Before you come for the show be sure to save some money by picking up advanced tickets. Advanced tickets can be purchased at the Rush-In or the Eskridge market. You can find both on this map of Eskridge under the off site services section. As always remember children 5 and under are free.
* $1.00 (USD) will be donated for each person wearing a visible article of clothing that is a majority (greater than 50%) “pink” in color (this excludes accessories including but not limited to hair bands, bracelets, purses, and charms) their first time through the Eskridge Labor Day Rodeo gates on Saturday August, 30th 2014. Subsequent re-entry of patrons & contestants will not be counted towards this donation. The determination of if an individual is wearing a substantial amount of pink is solely at the discretion of the Eskridge Labor Day Rodeo Committee and/or its appointed representatives.
